About

The Curriculum Consists of 6 Basic Soccer Principles:

1) Ball Mastery
The ability for a player to be able to master the ball at an early stage of their career is crucial for player
development, hence ball mastery is the foundation of any soccer coaching. It is also the foundation that all other parts of the game can be built on. This helps to improve co-ordination, flexibility and control of players.

2) Passing & Receiving
This is what the game is all about. The ability of being able to pass and receive the ball under pressure is what makes a soccer game. The best teams in the world don’t only display skill, they also put special attention to passing and receiving the ball. Touch Perfect FC’s passing and receiving coaching sessions improve and encourage accurate and creative passing along with first touch control which is important at all levels.

3) 1 v 1 Attack & Defense
This part of the curriculum allows participants to display quick feet, balance and coordination which are key components to 1v1 attack and defense. The players will be taught the skills that are capable of breaking down defenses and encourage patience and proper positioning.

4) Speed
This is essential in soccer and this part of the curriculum enhances the player’s 1v1 attacking and defensive qualities. The exercises are designed to increase speed with and without the ball along with stop and starts and change of pace in a fun way.

5) Group Play
Touch Perfect FC’s playing philosophy is based on fast break attacks with emphasis on creative small group combination play. This combines with effective individual skills and decision making that leads to goal scoring chances. The group attack sessions improve small group combination play with emphasis on fast break attacks. The Group defending session focuses on the tactical aspect of defending and challenges the creativity of defenders.

6) Finishing
You don’t shoot, you don’t score. This final part of our curriculum is designed to maximise goal-scoring
opportunities with emphasis on instinctive play and technique around goal. This improves shooting and
heading techniques in each participant.
